Privacy Policy

Padel X is built so your games stay yours. This policy explains, in plain words, what the app does and does not do with your data.

The short version

• Your recordings and highlights are stored in your own iCloud, under your Apple ID — not on our servers.
• The app has no accounts or in-app advertising. We use usage analytics without your name or contact details to improve the app.
• We do not sell or rent your data. With your permission, Meta measures which ads lead people to install and open Padel X.

Who we are

Padel X is operated by Mikhail Dvoiniakov (United Arab Emirates), the "we" in this policy. For any privacy question you can reach us at mishadvoinyakov@gmail.com.

What the app stores, and where

• Your videos, highlights and clips are saved on your device and, if you turn on iCloud backup in Settings, in your private iCloud (Apple's iCloud Drive and CloudKit private database). They are tied to your Apple ID and are accessible only to you. We have no access to them.
• App settings (recording preferences, the storage limit you choose) are stored on your device.
• We keep no copy of your videos or any account data on our own infrastructure — we don't operate servers that receive your content.

Device permissions we ask for

• Camera & Microphone — to record your games. Footage is written only to the locations above.
• Photo Library — only if you choose to import an existing recording; we read the file you pick and nothing else.

You can change or revoke these any time in the iOS Settings app. The app keeps working with whatever you allow.

Usage analytics

To learn which features people use and where the app can be better, Padel X records usage events — for example: app opens, a recording started, a highlight saved, a clip shared — through Mixpanel. These events help us improve the app. Optional advertising measurement is described below.

• They are tied to a random ID generated on your device — never to your name, email, Apple ID, or phone number.
• We never send your videos, highlights, clips, opponents, scores, match titles, or precise location. Mixpanel does not receive your advertising identifier (IDFA).
• Analytics data is processed by Mixpanel (United States).
• Mixpanel also receives performance and error information, such as export time or the reason an operation failed. Network requests include an IP address, which can reveal an approximate city or region.

Optional advertising measurement

From version 1.1.2, Padel X asks for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt after onboarding. If you allow it, the Meta SDK sends app activation and installation signals, device and app information, and the advertising identifier to Meta to measure our app ads. Meta may link these signals with information from its services for advertising measurement. See Meta's Privacy Policy.

If you decline, the Meta SDK is not initialized and we do not send these measurement events. We do not send recordings, clips, match titles, scores, players' names, precise location, or your Mixpanel identifier to Meta. Automatic logging of purchases and other product events is disabled.

You can revoke tracking permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. This stops new activation events and advertising-identifier collection; requests already in progress may complete. After restarting the app with permission denied, the Meta SDK is not initialized. Declining does not limit any app feature.

Apple services

The app relies on Apple's iCloud, CloudKit and (on the Apple Watch) WatchConnectivity to store and sync your content across your own devices. Your use of these is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We never receive your iCloud content.

Children

Padel X is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Your control

You're always in control of your data: delete any highlight, clip or game inside the app; remove iCloud copies from Settings → Memory manage; or delete the app to remove its local data. iCloud content can also be managed from iOS Settings → your name → iCloud.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and post the new version here.
